Today I am thinking about a peaceful man.  A man who worked for racial equality and the end to discrimination, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

On August 28th 1963 at a historic march in Washington DC, Dr King delivered his famous “I have a dream” speech.  You can watch the entire speech below:

I was able to see the Dr. King Memorial recently in Washington DC.  The line “With this faith we will be able to hew out of the mountain of despair a stone of hope” from the “I Have a Dream” speech served as inspiration for the memorial.  It is beautiful and peaceful just like the man.
