Our Review:

I love that the Dinosaur Gummy Lab allows kids to dabble in the chemistry of candy making. During the candy making process kids actually work with fundamental STEM concepts. Without even realizing it they get to explore measurements, conversions, phases of matter and more!  This is learning as it was meant to be, hands on and stress free. What a fun way to create and expand the mind at the same time.

These are not your typical gummys.  Each dinosaur is a nice size, about an inch and wind up tasting quite good if you follow the directions carefully. Speaking of directions, the Dino lab is meant for children 6+ but parental supervision will still be necessary for older kids in my experience, especially for the more advanced experiments.

Unfortunately we were not big fans of the favors.  Our finished gummies looked pretty cool but did not taste like the described flavors of watermelon and mixed berry.  Hopefully the flavors can be refined in the next version of the lab.

I’m getting ready to go to Sweet Suite 2024 and I can’t wait to stop by and tell Thames & Kosmos how much we enjoyed this STEM activity.
