Since Covid-19 hit, my family has been hunkering down and playing favorite classics such as Connect4 and Blokus. We’ve also enjoyed testing out as many new games as we can. As a result I have put together this list of the hottest games that are guaranteed to warm up your family’s weekends from winter well into the new year.

Until Wonder Woman 1984 arrives on Christmas Day, fans can amuse themselves by defending Themyscira from invasion. The directions are a little confusing but the real issue with this game is that die hard fans are going to fight like amazons to be Diana every time.
Back To The Future: Back in Time (Funko Games) -Ages 10+
Can you believe it’s been 35 years since the DeLorean mad its first trip back in time? Now its your turn to get George and Lorraine together before lightning strikes the clock tower.
Bye, Felicia (Big G Creative) -Ages 12+
Squealing Bye Felicia is so satisfying! That’s my son’s review in a nutshell. Players have 30 seconds to list answers on a random topic and you better be on the ball because its important to write down answers that you think others will write down as well. If you don’t you get the “Bye, Felicia” shove off!
Camera Roll (Endless Games) -Ages 12+
How fast can you scroll? You might want to practice if playing with teens because this game is in their wheel house. Quickly scrolling through your phone to match a category in 30 seconds is not for the flip phone crowd. There are a lot of laughs to be had with this game just make sure your photos are rated G!
Exploding Kittens (Exploding Kittens) -Ages 7+
This quirky game includes cute, deadly exploding kittens and well…you just have to jump in and play to experience the fun.
Hocus Pocus (Ravensberger) -Ages 8+
You’ll be running amok trying to stop the Sanderson sisters from completing their potion before the sun comes up. Die hard fans of the movie will love the artwork of this game. It is absolutely perfect and that is not a bunch of Hocus Pocus!
Relative Insanity See What I Mean? (Play Monster) -Ages 14+
“What would granny say” about the antics? You may find out when the judge picks the funniest caption. After a roll of the dice what will be the next hilarious caption a “punch line,” or “what happened next? Play this hilarious game from comedian Jeff Foxworthy with teens aged 14 and up because some photos are a little racy for the littles.
