First One In Trailer:
Non Spoiler Synopsis:
First One In follows disgraced Madi Cooke (Kat Foster) as she aims to reinvent herself after accidentally killing an endangered animal on a popular reality show. Labeled the most hated woman in America, Madi is shunned, fired from her job and loses her confidence. She goes blonde, fakes her last name and applies for a job at a prestigious real estate firm. Tennis obsessed real estate diva Bobbi Mason (Georgia King) agrees to hire Madi if she can help her win a local tennis tournament. Madi joins a tennis clinic for practice and the fun begins. Will hilarious competition, unlikely camaraderie and a ton of unforced errors, help Madi get her grit back? You’ll have to watch to find out.
Women of all stripes will enjoy recognizing their own “teams” within this fun group of characters. I couldn’t help but think of my diverse group of book club friends while watching these ladies volley. There’s nothing like the feeling of home a solid group of friends evokes. Gina O’Brien has aced her directorial debut with this clever film that celebrates female friendships in all their glory (and a slight twist of dysfunction).First One In premieres on Amazon Prime Video, iTunes, Google Play and other VOD/Digital platforms Tuesday, September 8.
