Flip N Check activity books are my son Logan’s new obsession. I am thrilled because they give him a break from electronic games. There is nothing like a good, old fashioned book to stimulate the brain and these come with a twist!

The Flip N Check Concept:

Flip N Check books are a new way to play intriguing and thought-provoking games for children aged seven and up. Each book features 20 engaging activities. The titles are fresh and fun. The eternally popular Mad Libs edition is a star of the collection. The books each feature a dry erase flap which is the secret to their unique appeal.

Each book has a theme.  My son’s favorite is the Ocean Explorer.

Flip N Check books are easy for young hands to work with.  The kids choose an activity sheet and place it behind the dry erase flap.  After completing an activity sheet the user flips the page over and slides it back under the flap. The answers  can be easily checked because they “magically” fall into place.

Each dry erase marker is topped with an eraser. This makes it easy for kids to wipe their work off and go on to the next activity!  Flip N Check books are not a once and done deal.  I love that your child can finish their book but then a sibling or friend can enjoy their turn.  I know that Logan will go back to his books in a few weeks and repeat all the activities again.

The Verdict:

Pick up a few Flip N Check books. They make great gifts for any occasion and they hold a child’s interest.  Logan tends to have a hard time keeping his focus when there is no screen flashing bright graphics in front of him.  However, he is engaged with his Flip N Check books for long stretches. “I like working with the Flip books because if I make a mistake I can erase it.  It is fun using the marker to write on the see through page. I feel grown up with these books.”

Mad Libs Fun!

I would love to see future versions include an elastic attachment to hold the dry erase marker when it is not in use.  My son has lost two of his markers in a short time.  Beyond that we are looking forward to seeing what new titles and activities Flip N Check will come up with next.
