Gerber and Erin Andrews Team Up!

Gerber and Erin Andrews are teaming up and 🏈 Game Day just got easier for parents!

If you’re a parent who loves football, you know the struggle! You’re trying to enjoy the game, but your toddler just spilled snacks all over the floor, the baby needs a diaper change, and you missed the touchdown replay because someone had a meltdown. Sound familiar?

Well, Gerber gets it—and they’re doing something about it.

This football season, Gerber is teaming up with sports broadcaster, entrepreneur, and mom Erin Andrews to launch the Gerber Family-Friendly Restaurant Fund, a brand-new initiative that helps local, family-owned restaurants become more welcoming for families on game day.

Making Restaurants More Parent-Friendly

Through this fund, restaurants can apply for financial support to upgrade their spaces with:

  • Highchairs at every table

  • Changing tables in all restrooms

  • Gerber snacks and baby-friendly food options

  • Kids’ menus with nutritious choices

Basically, everything parents need to feel like game day is actually fun again—not just chaotic.

“Gerber is my MVP during football season,” Erin Andrews says.

“They truly get what it means to support parents.”

Why Now?

According to recent data, 54% of parents with kids under three are football fans. But many game-day venues weren’t designed with families in mind. That means parents often end up on the sidelines—literally and figuratively—missing the game while juggling snacks, naps, and tantrums.

Gerber wants to change that. The Family-Friendly Restaurant Fund is part of their broader Parent-Friendly Pursuit platform, which aims to create real, meaningful support for families in everyday life.

How It Works

From September 23 through November 2, local, independent restaurants can apply for funding at: 👉 familyfund.gerber.com
(Official rules and eligibility apply.)

Whether it’s your favorite neighborhood bar or go-to pizza place, encourage them to apply! Because when restaurants support families, everyone wins—especially tired parents trying to catch a play.

Game Day Snacks for the Littlest Fans

Even if you’re watching from home, Gerber has you covered with baby snacks that feel festive but are 100% parent-approved. Some all-stars this season include:

  • Lil’ Crunchies® Mild Cheddar & Veggie Dip

  • Banana and Strawberry Apple Puffs

  • Organic Pear Peach Strawberry Puree

These snacks make it easy for your little one to feel part of the celebration—without stealing your buffalo wings.

And for the cutest team spirit? Check out Gerber® Childrenswear for officially licensed NFL® baby gear representing your favorite team (let’s go NY Giants!) that’s perfect for your pint-sized fan.

A Win for Parents Everywhere

For over 95 years, Gerber has been committed to nourishing little ones and supporting the parents who raise them. With the launch of the Family-Friendly Restaurant Fund, they’re going beyond mealtime and into the heart of our communities—making everyday traditions, like game day, more accessible and enjoyable for families.

Whether you’re a football die-hard or just in it for the halftime snacks, this initiative is a major touchdown for parents everywhere.

The Event:

I was thrilled to join Erin Andrews at Gerber’s Game Day Event at Rocco’s Sports & Rec in New York City.  Guests were welcome to mingle with Erin and discuss her go to parenting tips for game day. We enjoyed game day themed photo opps., a kid-friendly football pit, and even got to pick out an item from a super cool Gerber product vending machine. It was especially fun  to see how Rocco’s has been transformed into an ideal family-friendly space for football season (and beyond).

The event was full of good vibes and sporty fun! It was truly fun for me because I’ve always though I would have made a great Gerber baby! Do I make the cut?
