My family is always looking for new ways to spread happiness. In fact that is how this blog Kid Congeniality was born!  We love it when we can bring a smile to someone’s face by  posting something uplifting or making readers laugh on our Facebook page.

Last year wasn’t the best for our family.  We had a few personal struggles that are best left in the past.  Through the course of it all we always looked forward, sometimes not so patiently waiting for the break in the clouds to appear.  It may take a while but the sun always come back.

We recently went to a trunk show at FAO Schwarz to meet Susan S. Johnston, PHD the author who brought Heartley and his friends to life. We wanted to thank her for her inspiring book about kindness.  Ms. Johnston was extremely gracious and spent a long time talking with us, posing for photos and she even signed our book with a special inspirational message just for Logan.

Logan noted how lucky we were and an idea was born!  So we are happy to announce that we are giving away a free Heartley the Gnome Kindness package to one of our lucky readers!
