Letters At Christmas Synopsis:

When a couple facing divorce take their kids to help them renovate a historic hotel, their marriage is given a new lease on love. Their kids discover letters written decades earlier by a young couple who never met. This inspires them to try to save their parents’ marriage. With Christmas Day approaching, the siblings recreate a similar romantic exchange between their parents, hoping to rekindle the affection they once felt for each another.

Dean Cain stars in this endearing family film celebrating the wonder of the holidays, Discovering a collection of letters written decades prior, two siblings are inspired to bring their parents back together. The use of flashbacks as the kids read the letters  is a nice poignant touch. The premise of the flm is sweet and the setting is special.

Shot on location at the Val Verde Historic Hotel in Socorro New Mexico, Letters At Christmas explores the true meaning of Christmas as well as the bonds of family. Dean Cain, best known for his role as Superman, brings his signature charm to the role of Jason Lawrence. His character starts off unlikeable but eventually he thaws out and Cain’s warmth shines through.

Letters At Christmas is a feel-good holiday film that taps into the sentimental magic of the Christmas season. Letters At Christmas is a predictable holiday film that will please fans of traditional Christmas movies. While the film may not break any new ground in terms of plot or structure, it offers plenty of heart and just enough predictability to stir the holiday spirit.
