More Flerken Please- Captain Marvel Extras
Flerken! We want more Flerken!
Now that Captain Marvel has arrived on Blu-Ray/Digital, my family has been devouring all of the incredible bonus features. It’s a real treat as a fan to see some of the behind the scenes magic making. If you haven’t had the chance to buy your copy yet, don’t worry because I am delighted to be able to share a sampling of concept art and behind the scenes photos from the film with you.
Carol Danvers:
Captain Marvel follows Carol Danvers as she evolves into a force to be reckoned with. It’s been fun to see her transformation from U.S. Air Force pilot to one of the most powerful forces in the universe.
Here’s a Captain Marvel bonus clip:
Goose:
Don’t tell Ms. Danvers but we think that the Flerken is the scene stealer in the film. In the comics Goose is known as Chewie. Since there’s only one Chewie I’m ok with the name change and nod to Top Gun. You may think Goose is “so flerken cute” but now you know what flerkens are actually capable of. I’m all for admiring this cutie but I’ll do so from afar thank you.
The KREE:
Captain Marvel is a KREE, or is she? Were you paying attention? I think you better watch again ( wink, wink…there’s your excuse to rewatch yet again!) The KREE are the “good guys” when we meet them but as the plot progresses our tolerance for the KREE brand of good has flown off to another universe.
The SKRULLS:
Led by Talos, these shape shifters are trying to invade Earth…or are they? The Skrulls literally shift in front of our eyes over the course of the film. I’d like to see a follow up film on the fate of the Skrulls. Maybe they will cross paths with Thor and The Guardians down the road.
