National Cinema Day is back and more than 3,000 locations across the U.S. are participating to bring us all some movie magic.

National Cinema Day began in 2022 las a celebration the unifying allure of films. It’s purpose is to encourage folks to get out and enjoy the transformative experience of watching a movie in a theater. To celebrate, theaters across the U.S. are offering $4 tickets on August 27, 2023 for any showing. This includes premium screening formats such as IMAX, and more.

Moviegoers can enjoy an expanded show schedule on Sunday, with as many screenings of blockbuster hits as possible, including Gran Turismo, The Super Mario Bros. Movie, Blue Beetle, and more. In addition, lucky folks who live near a Regal Cinema can also enjoy a special $4 small combo concession offer. I just went to see Blue Beetle and thought it was super fun.  I think for $4 it’s worth seeing again, although I still have to jump on that Barbenheimer trend as well! Ah, so many movies and only one specially priced day.
