The event encourages viewers to get outside and walk their dogs in honor of three charitable organizations: American Heart Association, Best Friends Animal Society, and Environmental Defense Fund. Hosted by gold medalist Lindsey Vonn and her canine co-host Lucy, the series features twelve teams of dogs and their humans on an epic adventure across multiple continents.
