The Best Christmas Pageant Ever is perfectly cast. The children command the stage and nail their parts. The Herdman kids are particular standouts especially Beatrice Snyder (Imogene). Kynlee Heiman, who plays Gladys is a tiny, brazen breath of fresh air sans front teeth.

I surprised myself by crying at the end of the pageant. The Best Christmas Pageant Ever is equally about what the community learns from the Herdmans as much as what they learn from the community  This heartwarming film has become a holiday favorite and now you an rewatch it at home whenever you want.  Go buy this film for your collection and revisit the true meaning of Christmas every year.
