Wonder Woman Giveaway
It’s Wonder Woman Giveaway time. It’s not everyday that everyone’s favorite warrior turns 80 years young. To celebrate I am giving away a super cool “W” notebook I picked up for one lucky reader at Dylan’s Candy Bar in New York City.
I’ve admired Wonder Woman since I first laid eyes on Lynda Carter capturing bad guys with her golden rope. I was thrilled when HBO Max gave us all a gift and premiered Wonder Woman 1984 on Christmas day. Its hard to believe “Diana Prince” is already 80 it feels like she just turned 75! Back in the fall I was happy to participate in the DC Wonder Woman Virtual Run. Rugged Races in partnership with Warner Bros. Consumer Products (WBCP) and DC organized a 5k /10k benefitting St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital that allowed participants to run/walk whenever, wherever and however they wanted.
Entrants were encouraged to share the fun, dress up as a favorite DC Super Hero and bring joy to the community all while maintaining social distancing of course!
I found that after doing my part and staying home to avoid covid-19, the virtual run was a great way to get moving and feel free! I happily channeled Wonder Woman’s warrior spirit on a walk from the Upper East Side of Manhattan to Roosevelt Island.
