Hot Toys From Sweet Suite at Home

Toys make me happy and I had a VIRTUAL blast checking out all the hot new toys at Sweet Suite at Home. For the first time ever, The Toy Insider’s Annual Toy Party happened 100% online.  Read on to check out 10 Hot Toys from the event and my thoughts about the digital “Night of Play” format.

**Disclosure: A swag box of samples was sent to me in return for my attendance at Sweet Suite.  All opinions are my own and not all featured items were in the swag box.

I’m a big kid at heart so I was bummed that my favorite “Night of Play” was probably not happening because of Covid-19. Needless to say I was thrilled when the party people at the Toy Insider decided to throw an all day shin-dig that I could enjoy from the comfort and safety of my living room.

Hot Toys From Sweet Suite At Home:

Pokemon Battle Academy- (The Pokemon Company International)

The trading card game where you can choose Pikachu or Charizard to lead your team in a battle against another trainer. Also includes a code for the Pokemon Trading Card game online.

Scribble Scrubbie Pets- (Crayola)

These small and colorable pets are fun, creative and easy to clean!

Teddy Pets- (Aurora World)

It may be hard for you to decide which of the Teddy Pets is the cutest but the bijon-frise looks like my pup Ginger and I’m clearly smitten.

Blues Clues Plush- (Just Play)

The only clue you need here is the word cute!

Dumplings- (Common Wealth Toys)

Each expressive Dumpling comes in a bamboo steamer container. With cute names like Ralphie Ravioli, sticker sheets and a collector’s guide there’s lots here to amuse your own little dumplings.

Playful Pandas- (Far Out Toys)

Playful Pandas are adorable, interactive pets that wiggle, giggle and sing. They actually respond to your voice and sing to you. If you collect multiple Pandas, they will croon together. I received a Playful Panda named Sweetie to review and I love her.  The Playful Pandas come in six different styles and are available at Target.

The Child aka “Baby Yoda” Interactive Toy- (Hasbro)

This kid needs no introduction. Perhaps the most anticipated toy in a while The Child Interactive Toy is adorable. Touching the top of The Child’s head activates over 25 sound and motion combinations, including happy sounds, giggles, and more.

Lego Brick Sketches-

What if I told you you could create a three dimensional portrait of your favorite pop culture characters out of Lego?  Jaw drops…brilliant!  Lego proves again that they are on the cutting edge of fun.

Pound Puppies New Borns- (Basic Fun)

They’re so cute and soft and fit in the plam of your hand. They include an adoption certificate that allow you to write in the name you choose for your puppy. They are an authentic reproduction of the original Pound Puppies Newborns from the 1980s, and come in a variety of colors. And P.S: thinking ahead, these would make amazing stocking stuffers.

Rainbow High Fashion Dolls- ( MGA Entertainment )

Sassy, colorful and hair to “dye” for. These little ladies are going to be a holiday season must have for the fashion diva in your life.

Moji (Skyrocket)

This PAWsitively adorable labradoodle dog toy is the next best thing to your own real life pup. This responsive dog toy has more than 150 sound-and-motion combinations. The life-like Mohi can perform a variety of tricks, including wagging its tail, and tilting its head.

Sweet Suite at Home turned out to be a unique, fun experience.  Everything was laid out efficiently and easy to find.  The live demos were cool and the marketing personnel were attentive to questions and very accommodating.  I really enjoyed the experience however I am really looking forward to attending Sweet Suite 2021 in person.  There is no comparison or replacement for seeing, playing with and experiencing the toys in person.  I missed the interaction and camaraderie of the in person event but was thrilled to have the ease of Sweet Suite at Home to hold me over.

Thank you to the Toy Insider for being innovative and playful!
