The former host of “The Real” brought my motto “Why should kids have all the fun?” to life at the intimate Mother’s Day-inspired event focused on creating a space where mothers and caregivers could slow down, connect, and take care of themselves for a few meaningful hours.

Held at the charming Palma restaurant in New York City’s West Village neighborhood, the stylish gathering brought together media, creators, and guests for a morning centered around conversation, creativity, wellness, and comfort food. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, filled with gorgeous yellow blooms, thoughtful details, and inspiring women celebrating motherhood together.

I admit that I felt a little awkward sitting down to paint but once I started the positivity at the table took over. Everyone was sharing their stories and the art began to flow out of the brush.

Guests enjoyed delicious NIDO-infused beverages including the Raspberry Rose Matcha Latte and French Toast Latte, alongside beautifully prepared bites inspired by NIDO Fortificada. Every detail reinforced the event’s theme of comfort, nourishment, and slowing down to savor the little moments. I personally plan to add both delightful drinks into my entertainment arsenal. The ladies at book club are going to be very happy!

One of the best things about NIDO Fortificada is its versatility. I love discovering recipes that feel elevated but are still simple enough for real everyday life. Here are a few of the creative beverage recipes Adrienne shared with us that you can easily recreate at home.

French Toast Latte Recipe
Ingredients
- 3 Tbsp Nido Fortificada powder
- 1 long shot Nespresso Starbucks Espresso Roast
- 3/4 cup hot water
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1 Tbsp maple syrup
- 1 Tbsp brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- Pinch of salt (optional if you are watching your sodium content)
Instructions
- Prepare Nespresso shot
- Prepare NIDO: Combine 3 Tbsp Fortificada with hot water, add vanilla, whisk to combine thoroughly
- Prepare “French Toast Syrup: Combine maple syrup, brown sugar, cinnamon & salt. Whisk to combine thoroughly
- Assemble: Add prepared syrup to espresso shot. Stir to combine and top with prepared NIDO.

Raspberry Rose Matcha Latte Recipe
**For this recipe you will need a stainless steel whipped cream dispenser or you can improvise with Redi Whip.
Ingredients
- 4 Tbsp NIDO Fortificada powder divided
- 2 Tbsp Vital Proteins Matcha Collagen Powder
- 1 Tbsp honey
- 1 Tbsp rose syrup
- 1 Tbsp dehydrated raspberry powder
- 1 Tbsp simple syrup
- 1 cup water, divided
Instructions
- Prepare Matcha layer: Combine matcha powder, 2 tbsp NIDO Fortificada, honey and 1/2 cup warm water. Whisk until smooth and chill
- Prepare Raspberry Rose layer: Combine 2 Tbsp NIDO Fortificada, rose syrup, raspberry powder, simple syrup and 1/2 cup water. Whisk until smooth and chill
- Assemble: Fill glass 1/2 way with ice. Pour matcha layer into glass filling 80%. Foam raspberry rose liquid into alternate glass- spoon over matcha layer carefully
- Prepare Raspberry Rose Foam: Add chilled raspberry rose mixture to whipped cream dispenser with two cartridges (to properly aerate the cream)
