Brat: An 80’s Story:

Andrew McCarthy spent his youth creating films that represent a coming of age in America. Pretty in PinkSt. Elmo’s Fire, Mannequin and Weekend at Bernie’s are just a few of the iconic films that will live on forever in pop culture history. Now Andrew is giving us an intimate glimpse of his own coming of age in “Brat: An 80s Story”. I am looking forward to picking up a copy and returning to the glory days of the 80’s this summer.

Chatting with Denise Albert and Andrew McCarthy was a pleasure. Denise’s interviews are always personable and intimate. She chatted with McCarthy like he’s the guy next door. He’s a down to earth dad who also happens to be an accomplished actor, director and author.  He’s passionate about his family as well as getting back to traveling. His memoir is a reflection of his experiences and the realization that in our youth we tend to act out of insecurity. HIs message is to believe in ourselves more often and I’m on board! Anything to bring on Brighter Days Ahead!
