Days of Our Lives: Beyond Salem Coming To Peacock

Days of Our Lives fans rejoice!. Our friends from Salem are expanding their horizons Beyond Salem!

Like sands through the hour glass… oh how many deliciously scandalous hours I sat there watching Roman, Marlena, Bo and Hope with my grandmother. The fun didn’t stop there I watched straight through college and tune in every now and then to see if all my familiar friends are doing well. Now, the franchise is expanding because who can get enough?  Peacock announced that it has ordered a five episode limited series Days of Our Lives: Beyond Salem.

The most exciting news? Lisa Rinna is set to headline, reprising her role as Billie Reed. Rinna left Days of Our Lives in 2018 after playing Billie on the soap since 1992. She will appear along with Days vets Deidre Hall (Marlena), Drake Hogestyn (John) as well as James Reynolds (Abe). Other current Days cast members also joining the spinoff include Jackée Harry (Paulina), Victoria Konefal (Ciara) Robert Scott Wilson (Ben), Billy Flynn (Chad), Lamon Archey (Eli) and Sal Stowers (Lani).

Beyond Salem Teaser Synopsis:

Over a long weekend, John & Marlena travel to Zurich while Ben & Ciara have a romantic getaway in New Orleans.  Chad visits some old friends in Phoenix, and Abe, Paulina, Lani, and Eli vacation in Miami. All find themselves embroiled in a mystery involving stolen jewels which, in the wrong hands, could cause dire consequences for Salem. It’s a race against time for ISA agent Billie Reed as she crosses the globe in search of this missing treasure. Packed with all of the romance, action, drama, and surprises that only Days of our Lives can deliver!  Fans will spend a week with their favorite Salem supercouples and reconnect with many familiar faces along the way.

My only question is…. is Bo Brady part of the missing treasure because this is “Days” after all.  I do love when a familiar face comes back to town and Bo is surely a treasure!
