Finding You Synopsis:

After an ill-fated audition at a prestigious New York music conservatory, violinist Finley Sinclair (Rose Reid) travels to an Irish coastal village to begin her semester studying abroad. At the B&B run by her host family, she encounters gregarious and persistent heartthrob movie star Beckett Rush (Jedidiah Goodacre), who is there to film another installment of his medieval fantasy-adventure franchise. As romance sparks between the unlikely pair, Beckett ignites a journey of discovery for Finley that transforms her heart, her music, and her outlook on life.

Review:

Finding You is a compelling and charming romantic jaunt through the Irish countryside.  The plot is a heartwarming reminder to follow your dreams.  Finley (Rose Reid) is an aspiring violinist who just botched a big audition for music school. Beckett (Jedidiah Goodacre) is a Hollywood bad boy who is growing tired of public life. A young girl looking to find herself finds friendship and romance once she spreads her wings and files away from home.  We’ve seen this plot before but I was hooked once Finley was seated next to Beckett on the plane. This type of wide-eyed romance is the stuff that all teens dream of. There’s no shame in re-living young, hopeful, innocent love once in a while even if the plot is a little light.

The charm of this film is in the actors. The cast has beautiful chemistry and really do make the film. Rose Reid is perfect as Finely.  She’s the girl you want as a best friend and I found myself pulling for her success throughout the film. Jedidiiah Goodacre is the charmer we all need in our life. I couldn’t help myself I kept hoping that these two would wind up together.  No spoilers here.  Watch the film and enjoy the beautiful Irish country side. The scenery is gorgeous I wish there was more of it and Vanessa Redgrave is a wonderful treat to see again.

Go see Finding You when you need a little lift in your spirits. Finley, Beckett and friends will not disappoint.  I’m going to pick up “There You’ll Find Me” now to get a little deeper into the beautiful Irish
