Review:

Gratitude Revealed is a feel-good documentary from the director of “Fantastic Fungi”. The film is a reflection on the meaning of gratitude. Schwartzberg’s message of finding joy and importance in the little things is a positive one that resonates in today’s troubling times. It dares us to ask the question “What does gratitude mean to me?”

The cinematography is beautiful. It is a stunning visual meditation that leaves the viewer with a sense of hope. The interviews merely touch the surface of what gratitude is. The potential for exploration is much deeper than what the time of the film cold allow for. Gratitude Revealed leaves the viewer with a sense of wanting. Wanting more substance, more insight into gratitude and wanting more time to savor the world and its wonders.  Of course… wanting more of the breathtaking cinematography please. My suggestion is to watch this film when you have the time to really savor the visuals.  The message gets a little repetitive but the visuals will bring you to a place of satisfaction, or dare I say… gratitude?
