Hotel Transylvania: Transformania Trailer:

Hotel Trasylvania: Transformania Synopsis:

This all-new adventure presents Drac (Brian Hull) with his most terrifying task yet. When Van Helsing’s (Jim Gaffigan) mysterious invention, the ‘Monsterification Ray,’ goes haywire, Drac and his monster pals are all transformed into humans. But… Johnny (Andy Samberg) becomes a monster! Drac, stripped of his powers, and an exuberant Johnny, loving life as a monster, must team up and race across the globe to find a cure before it’s too late, and before they drive each other crazy. With help from Mavis (Selena Gomez) and the hilariously human Drac Pack, the heat is on to find a way to switch themselves back before their transformations become permanent. The film also features the voices of Kathryn Hahn (Ericka), Steve Buscemi (Wayne), Molly Shannon (Wanda), David Spade (Griffin the Invisible Man), Keegan-Michael Key (Murray), Fran Drescher (Eunice), Brad Abrell (Frank), and Asher Blinkoff (Dennis).

Kid Congeniality’s Transformania Review:

If you loved the other Hotel Transylvania movies, you’ll get a kick out of Transformania! Like the previous films this one is chock full of music, excitement and lot of laughter.

Johnny’s desire to be like the rest of the family creates some antics when he is transformed into a dragon-like “monster”. Shortly after, Drac mistakenly gets transformed into a human and antics ensue.  The unlikely in- laws set out on a quest to find a special crystal that can switch them back.

The kids will howl at the slap stick comedy throughout the film especially the “Drac attacks” by piranhas and mosquitos. Adults will like some of the jokes that kids might not appreciate like the nod to Freaky Friday that Johnny mentions shortly after transforming.

Bottom line, this finale to the beloved franchise is a winner. Your little monsters are going to want to do the monster cha-cha slide for weeks after watching the film so get ready for some nightly dance parties!
