Olivia Benson fans, are you ready to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit?  NBC is turning the Plaza at Rockefeller Center in New York City into a tribute to the longest-running scripted primetime drama. Read on to see how you can be a part of the squad!

Shout out to Mariska Hargity for being the longest-running female actress on primetime television, playing the beloved Olivia Benson.  A milestone like this is deserving of an epic celebration and NBC is coming up big! For two days in March, NBC is transforming the world famous Rockefeller Plaza into “Olivia Benson Plaza,” with an immersive experience in honor of the “SVU” icon.

Olivia Benson Plaza Details:

The experience will take place on March 14th and 15th and will be free to the public. Among the attractions, fans can enjoy complimentary coffee and tea from a “Benson & Co.” coffee truck (a.k.a. La Colombe). Each cup will honor the characters you love from SVU and feature unique latte art.

A fan shop dedicated to the Dick Wolf series will feature “SVU” friendship bracelets (by Little Words Project). 25% of purchases will benefit Hargitay’s Joyful Heart Foundation.  A limited edition “SVU” anniversary T-shirt will also be available. The Plaza outside “30 Rock” will also feature fun “Law & Order: SVU” trivia games, giveaways and photo opps. Olivia Benson Plaza will be located in the north plaza at 30 Rock.

From NBC:

“Law & Order: Special Victims Unit’ and New York have always been intrinsically linked, and what better way to bring the show to life than to incorporate it into the city itself,” said NBCU entertainment’s Margaret Walker, senior VP of NBC brand strategy and audience growth. “Olivia Benson is an iconic character whose connection to our viewers has only grown over the past 25 years, and naming this experience after her is a small way to pay tribute to that legacy and the strength of the fandom.”

“Law and Order: SVU” is produced by Dick Wolf. It is the longest-running prime-time drama in the United States.
