Space Dogs Tropical Adventure Movie Review

Space Dogs is back with an all new adventure. Curious to find out what types of mischief canine astronauts Belka and Strelka are getting into this time? Read on because I’m about to share some doggone cool history with you as well.

The third and final installment of the Space Dogs trilogy (Space Dogs, Space Dogs: Adventure to the Moon) from Epic Pictures is available in theaters and on VOD starting 4/2/21.

Space Dogs Tropical Adventure Synopsis:

When a mysterious whirlpool appears in the tropics of the Atlantic Ocean, astronauts Belka and Strelka are sent to investigate. Belka and Strelka must once again act heroically and complete a daring mission to save the planet! They also take on saving the distant home of their new alien friends in the process.

Non Spoiler Review:

Strelka and Belka’s assignment takes them to Cuba. There they work together to figure out the mystery behind a mysterious and dangerous whirlpool. They discover that the phenomenon is being caused by aliens who came to earth for resources to save their environment.

This colorful and adventurous film will hold your children’s attention especially if they are animal lovers. The plot itself is a little thin but themes of team work and caring for the environment make it a great launching pad for dinner conversations and learning opportunities.

Speaking of learning opportunities, Did you know that the first dogs in space were from the Soviet Union? Their names…  Belka and Strelka of course! Because we love dogs we have to share this quick video with you all. Here’s some fun world history starring two smart cuties to show the kids:
