Starstruck, the 6th installment in Warner Bros.’ beloved film series  “A Cinderella Story” arrives on DVD July 13th. You are sure to be singing along as you watch this fun musical from the comfort of home.

Speaking of comfort, we are kicking off the weekend by decorating cookies to eat while re-watching “A Cinderella Story: Starstruck.” This is the first “A Cinderella Story” film set on a farm. Starstruck is set in the small town of Dreary, Idaho and stars one of our favorite young actresses Bailee Madison (A Week Away- See our review here) as Finley Tremain. Michael Evans Behling (All American) is Finley’s charming romantic interest Jackson Stone. Take a peek at the trailer below.

Starstruck Synopsis:

Small time farm girl Finley Tremaine longs to spread her wings and soar as an
aspiring performer. When a Hollywood film crew arrives in her sleepy town, she is
determined to land a role in the production and capture the attention of handsome
actor Jackson Stone. After her audition takes a bad turn, Finely gest a little unconventional. She lands a role disguised as a cowboy named “Huck”. But can Finley keep the charade a secret from everyone, including her evil stepmother and devious step-siblings?

Starstruck Spoiler Free Review:

Finley dreams of getting away from her awful stepmother (April Telek) and step-siblings Saffron (Lillian Doucet-Roche) and Kale (Richard Harmon). Landing a role in a big budget film would certainly help! Unfortunately things don’t go Finley’s way at first but she gets creative and lands a role anyway.  The hiccup…she is disguised as a boy.  I won’t spoil the antics that follow but its a fun ride.

A Cinderella Story: Starstruck is a predictable yet entertaining film loaded with catchy tunes that teens will want to play on loop this summer.  It is the perfect film for long summer nights and and tweens dreaming of their bright futures.
